In the beautiful ground floor Hono Kai A11 garden-view unit, you will be immersed in rich tropical foliage from your spacious private lanai only steps from the complex beach access! Remodeled and decorated with the spirit of Aloha, this unit features a primary bedroom suite with a comfy king-size bed, a split system A/C unit in the living room for added comfort, an updated and fully equipped kitchen with all the conveniences of home, and a well-appointed bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower!
Walk the manicured grounds lined with lush tropical greenery, papaya trees, and local tropical flowers, enjoy the community oceanfront swimming pool and gas BBQ grills, or have some adventures with onsite complex beach access. This condo provides beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, and binoculars for whale watching (when in season) for added fun!

Hono Kai Complex:
The 3-story Hono Kai complex has direct access to over six miles of white sandy beach just steps from the manicured resort grounds perfect for swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, sunbathing, and surfing at times. In a brief 13 min walk (0.7 mi) via Hauoli St, you can enjoy the Maalaea Harbor, the Maalaea Harbor shops, Maui’s Ocean Center Aquarium, the Maui Golf and Sports Park, and much more.
The oceanfront pool is located just a wall away from the glistening waters of the Hawaiian ocean. Enjoy watching turtles and sealife playing in the waves, including whales, depending on the season (December- mid-April) while sitting or swimming at the pool or grilling at the community BBQ station. There are several lounge chairs and a public wash-off station just outside the pool for use at your convenience before residing back in your Maui hale (home). Each floor is fitted with laundry facilities offering 2 quarter-operated washers and 2 dryers. Please NOTE there is NO elevator access. The trash and recycling bins are located in a walled area in the northwest corner of the parking lot (roadside).
Ma’alaea Area:
For an epic adventure away, guests will appreciate Hono Kai’s close proximity to the Maalaea Boat Harbor (0.7 mi, about a 13-minute walk or 3-minute drive) offering several ocean excursions with world-famous sailing, snorkeling, sportfishing, and whale watching. Book an adventure today with local companies, such as Pacific Whale Foundation, Calypso, Trilogy Excursions, and Strike Zone! For a pleasant day out on the town, visit the nearby village of Ma’alaea where you will find the popular Maui Ocean Center, Maui Golf and Sports Park, an assortment of dining options ranging from coffee in the morning to local farm-to-table dinners in the evening, and a variety of great island shops. If you want to explore the entire island, just gas up the car around the corner and hit the road to your next unforgettable Maui adventure!

Description does not compare, fully stocked kitchen and beach wares (chairs, floaties, scuba gear, beach mats…completely secluded and private park with in walking distance. Very walkable to shops, cafe’s, gas stations. One small thing we figured out while we were there was that not only do the sea turtles surf here day and night but it’s also the 2nd windiest harbor in the world! Can not wait to come back!

This condo was perfect for my husband and I. We loved being steps away from the ocean and being able to hear the waves crashing. The condo was stocked with everything that you would need, full kitchen, stocked with everything that you need. The bed was so comfortable, and the mini split a/c was awesome after a day in the sun. We really liked that it was more secluded and not a busy tourist area BUT, it was still very close to shops and restaurants. We like the more private and quiet setting. We enjoyed walking on the beach every morning to watch the sunrise. It was nice that there were beach chairs, towels and a cooler available for us to use. They came in extremely handy! Things to do that we enjoyed, Pride of Maui sunset cruise from Maalaea Harbor, Scuba diving was an excellent experience, Haleakala Sunrise, Iao Valley Hiking Waihee Ridge Trail, Maui Chocolate Tour, Wine Tasting at Maui Wine, Walk around Maui Tropical Plantation, Ulupalakua Ranch and many more! I Go Maui was an awesome to work with! We will be back!

Loved my stay at Hona Kai condos, beautiful patio, great open space, quiet and private, but centrally located so very close to everywhere we wanted to go. Fully stocked kitchen so we could cook, management was great communicating and resolving any issues promptly. I would definitely stay there again, felt like home but with a beautiful tropical vibe

Lots to see and walkable to the Aquarium, a few restaurants, a snow cone shack, and the mini golf place! It was very cold inside when we got there, and the AC worked almost too well! They said it would only have enough paper towels, tp, and soap for a few days, but other tenants had left a lot behind, so I recommend checking out what was left there before going to the store!

Place is amazing very nicely redone comfortable beds.
This is the 4th time staying in A11. It is perfect. Stocked with everything we needed. Location is amazing and the complex is so quiet, relaxing and clean. Pool is a bonus and the few feet walk to the sand is amazing.
