How to Spend Christmas in Maui
While you may not experience a white Christmas in Maui, you’ll still feel the holiday cheer on the island. Locals and visitors love spending Christmas in Maui as it offers a way to relax during the holiday season under the warmth and sunshine of the Hawaiian sun. You will still get to experience festive activities and events to get you into the holiday spirit! Here are some of our favorite things to do in Maui during the holiday season:

Attend Holo Holo Fridays at the Queen Kaahumanu Center
Usher in the holiday season at Holo Holo Fridays with mele and cheer! Queen Kaahumanu Center will be having keiki activities from 6:00PM-7:00PM, with a performance to follow by some of Maui's beloved artists from 7:00PM-8:00PM. You don't want to miss this weekly event during the holiday season!
Visit the Lahaina Banyan Tree
Lahaina’s famous banyan tree is lit up during the holiday season, making it a spectacular view for all. The banyan tree is the biggest tree in not only Hawaii, but the United States. It spans 1.94 acres and reaches as tall as 60 feet in the air. After you’ve taken your dozens of photos by the banyan tree, stroll on Lahaina’s Front St. to find unique, local gifts for loved ones. The tree lights up from 5:30PM – 12:00AM all month long.
